Well, it's been a few months since I've been impressed to add anything. Good grief, it's almost Christmas! Once again, the Lord has blessed me "far more than my share." Since the last post a new job started. My sweet girl is happy in her job as a paraprofessional in Pre-K at a local elementary school. She is also in her second semester of college. So proud of her! She and her fella still going strong, though no wedding bells yet. All other family are well and little Ben is growing like a weed! We don't get to see him very often but when we do it is pure joy! What a blessing that baby is!
Got to visit with NC family in October when they came to sing at church. As always, the time went by too quick and the visit too short. Lord willing, though, my heart was impressed by the photo on this entry.
If the Lord will help us work out all the details, I want to have a Family Reunion! That's right. I want ALL of us together in one place before the Lord comes back. It occurred to me when studying this photo that, "the devil didn't and won't win!" God in His merciful, Sovereign, eternally ordained will, has kept us together in heart. We are in different places spiritually and with our daily lives but we all agree in Him. Momma, Aunt Helen, me, Kim, Jason, Christy, Sammy, Travis, Jessica, Rachel, Rebekah, Caitlyn, Samuel, Megan, Hannah, little Ben - what a happy time it will be.
My hearts verse is still Ps 57.7, "my heart is fixed, O God..."
I also like to quote Isa 30.15, "in quietness and confidence shall be your strength." My heart, fixed on God can rest quietly and confidently in His strength.
God bless until we meet again.
