We celebrated on her birth date with the "married" side of her family at home with ice cream cake. But the bestest fun was at Koji's! the following Friday night with the "birth" side of her crew. Gotta say, it was a grand time with the Hibatchi cook and his antics when "firing" up the grill. With my grilled salmon and fried rice and the glorious "Yum-Yum" sauce taste tested for the first time, I think we all had a wonderful evening. Thanks to my sweet son in-law for driving for me!
ALMOST FORGOT the most exciting news! Shortly before my sweet girl turned 21, she submitted her first children's book for publishing! So, excited. It'll probably be April before she knows if her manuscript will be printed in book form. She says she has other ideas rattling around that may find their way into print also. If this book gets published, it will make three times her writing has found its way into print in book form. Previously, there were poems (before she turned 18!). So proud of my girl. Thanks again, Lord for your hand in her life.
