My daughter wanted to know, "Momma, do you think we'll be moved by Spring?" In my heart a resounding, yes! This was it. It is time. Twenty-eight years ago, I left "the house of bread." Like Naomi and Elimilech, I sought "greener pastures." I looked for someone to give me what I felt I deserved.
Twenty-eight years ago, I did not heed the whisper in my heart to, "wait." "Wait, I say, on the Lord." (Ps. 27.14)
After sixteen of those years, my disobedience bore fruit. The law of "sowing and reaping," never changes for anyone. No one is excluded from this portion of God's law.
Again, all told, it has taken twenty-eight years and much heartache to get "back to my house of bread." However, one never really, truly gets "back." But by His marvelous grace we are in a place where we are free in the "liberty wherein we are called." (Gal. 5.13)
March post shows "old and new." April post shows the best part of the "new." A picture speaks 1,000 words! God bless and I hope you won't have to wait as long as I did to "get back" to your "house of bread?"
Amen. Ps. 57.7
