...tender and only beloved in the sight of (her) mother. (Prov. 4.3) |
A jubilee in the Hebraic religion has a duration of 50 years where during this period a year had to be devoted to God and to rest.
While I need to give more devotion time to my blessed Lord, this 50th year of my life is seeing wonderful changes!
Look at my header statement that says, "the deepest valley I had ever known." Well, Praise His Holy Name, after 11 years, which is my "50th" year, I will know rest before beginning the last leg of my journey "home."
Recent devotion has been in Proverbs where much is said about wisdom. Proverbs 2.4 refers to wisdom as "silver and hidden treasure."
My greatest desire, at this moment, is to know more of Him. To know the wisdom He would grant that I may pass it on to those who have yet to walk this way.
James 1.5, 6 says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering."
So, by faith, I seek His wisdom like silver or hidden treasures, that I may better serve Him and leave behind a testimony of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for my "beloved" daughter.
