To say "It's been a long journey but I have been blessed," is quite the understatement!  These kids are my joy and my sunshine!
The months since my sweet baby joined together in holy matrimony with this precious young man have seen her blossom into a godly, lovely young woman. Her mother is blessed beyond measure. I see her struggle to be all God wants her to be as she "picks and chooses" her battles.  She is learning to lean on her Lord.  It is a joy beyond measure to watch. Her sweet husband is doing the same.

Got to spend time with them, alone, recently and we talked for 2.5 hours almost nonstop!  I was amazed that there was so much to share and they were willing to do so with this old woman.  They didn't seem in a hurry to leave and subjects kept coming up that we could talk over together.  I'm not sure at any time if they were just being polite because momma needed the time with them.  I believe at ever turn they were sincere and even eager to share their lives with me.  That is no small thing in this fast-paced world of young folks wanting to go on to the next thing!
Again, I am blessed.  And to whomever should read this blog, know that God did it all!  I have no complaints.  I am satisfied.  I am content.

This morning, however, I will share one thing.  The Lord woke me before the birds began singing and gave me this;  "Your weariness is where I get the most glory from your life."  What can one do but humbly bow and say, "Amen, let it be so, Lord?"  If He is pleased to use me even a little bit in His service, my life will have had meaning.
Amen and Be blessed by His glorious grace and mercy, dear reader.  Ps 57.7
