It is with a thankful heart, this blogger posts today.
When studying the previous posts and pix's it is clear why I can look back at 2017 with happy thoughts. There is no end to the Lord's blessings in my life. Thanksgiving was sweet with the addition of the son inlaw. Christmas was calmer and sweeter than any one I can remember prior. Little Ben, as always, kept us entertained with "wow" when opening his gifts and everyone elses! Looking forward to this year with the same anticipation with which He brought me "to my mountain."Began a new job in November, selling furniture. Commission only! If no sales, then minimum wage! Another life lesson in "living by faith."
Daily, I must ask the Lord to "bring in the ones He wants and keep away the ones He doesn't want," in order to earn the income He see's fit.
The realization that His grace is sufficient is most evident in a job of this nature. However, the other thing that struck me recently is that "this isn't all about me." Whatever witness He may be pleased to use, I want to be an empty vessel for that purpose. It's His business to supply my "need according to His riches in glory." If the meal barrel is half full, then so be it. It is enough.
