So, I'm looking at how long it's been since anything has been updated. I can't believe it's been almost a whole year! Still, all things considered, God is good! I'm now the mother of a 15 year old, learner's permit and everything! Where has the time gone? My beautiful baby girl has passed another adult milestone. We had a wonderful Christmas, Rachel had a great birthday with family and church friends. We also started her "hope chest," by way of a Tupperware party the same week as her birthday. She is doing great at GCA (online homeschool). We even took a biology field trip to the Clarkesville library! Ever extracted DNA from a banana? Everyone ought to try it at least once!
We are enjoying church as much as ever. The Lord has given me a total of no less than six jobs with GBC. Thank you, Lord for trusting me with Thy work.
It's hard to believe my special friend, Mrs. Faye has been gone a whole year. Uncle Ray has been gone two years. Daddy passed away in October, his brother, Ralph, soon followed. Work is good. Between lunchroom work and ASM @ Sam's Club, church and home, I stay pretty busy. Momma spends her days reading books, news and playing with the computer. We take turns fixing Sunday dinner and have evening devotions.
I'm sure it all sounds dull and mundane to some but it is our life. Currently, I'm updating the photo montages into just one instead of so many. The idea is to continue the thought that started this blog; ...surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life."
